Job Title: Quality Controller

Location: Kampala

Job responsibilities:

• Incoming inspection of all raw and packaging materials
• Ensure calibration of Laboratory equipment is calibrated and maintained.
• Preparation and standardization of Laboratory reagents.
• Reporting equipment status to the QAT
• Carrying out validation tests on both product and package as assigned from time to time
• Comply with quality systems, standards, and practices.
• Interpret and apply GLP and GMP requirements in the laboratory.
• Comply with the requirements of the QMS, policies, SOP’s and work instructions
• Comply with safe working procedures/signage and standards.
• Communicate professionally
• Proactively encourage participation, problem-solving, and idea-sharing in team meetings and daily interactions to continuously entrench thinking and application of WCM principles.
• Develop self-awareness.

 

Minimumqualifications:

  • Degree in Food Science and Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or any other related field
  • Three (3) years of technical experience in an FMCG environment
  • Administration and assertiveness
  • Problem-solving and analysis
  • Self-discipline and Self-motivated
  • Detailed focused
  • Routine Compliance, Governance, and Ethics
  • Team player
